Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh: We are extremely sad to inform you about demise of Mr. Meharban James, a true fighter for the rights of converted and poor Christians. Inspite of working as Railway employee he took active interest in his ground work through constantly writing in the local newspapers.
Mr. James was ill for some time and took his last breath yesterday. In the last prayer meeting at St. Anthony of Padua church many local and those coming from outside to pay homage to Mr. James. Local Catholic Priest Father Stephen, Father William Premdass Chaudhary, Delhi Catholic archdiocese and Mrs. Baby Garvin from Nagpur completed last rituals.
Bareilly District President of Poor Christian Liberation Movement, Mrs. Hina Massey, George and Mr. Gladwin had praised his contribution and dedication towards the cause of Dalit Christians. President of PCLM R.L Francis said, “Converted Christians have lost true friend. He was advocate of social justice, nationalism, and communal harmony. He continued his lifelong battle for the rights of poor converted Christians. He was true messiah. He accepted message of Jesus Christ in true sense and served poor people."
Bundelkhand unit of Poor Christian Liberation Movement (PCLM) paid homage to him in a meeting. Mr. P.B Lomeo, Adger Gerald, Vimal Roy expressed condolence with the bereaved family.
